openQCM Q-1Troubleshooting
Is anyone else using the openQCM Q-1 with Dissipation Module? We are currently using one with a PTFE open cover for pipetting and have been having some difficulties in reproducing known data.
Currently we have noted a temperature increase for long runs as well as a constant frequency change when test running with pure water or air.
We also have issues with solvent evaporation with the teflon cap clicked in place.
Has anyone else using this system had these issues and if so do you know what caused them/how did you go about fixing them?

drifts can be normal in the typical QCM behavior. These can be due to a number of external factors, such as the presence of humidity, temperature or a swelling effect of the o-ring. These drift effects are also described in the Q-Sense E-Series manual on page 27 (paragrah "Verifying System Performance":
