Reproducibility in liquid measurements

Hello,

I am using the openQCM Q-1 to perform measurements in liquid phase. My experimental setup is as follows:

1. Load QCM sensor into the holder and attach flow cell. Allow temperature, frequency and dissipation to stabilise in air (~1.5 hours).
2. Fill the flow cell with buffer via aspiration (as per the manual).
3. Inject 1mL of buffer at 100uL/min into the flow cell using a syringe pump.
4. Stop pump and leave for 15 min to obtain frequency and dissipation in buffer under static conditions. Use the average of the last 5 min as the baseline.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 using the sample in the same buffer.

However, the data obtain does not seem to be reproducible as there are large discrepancies in the frequency and dissipation shifts obtained for repetitions, even after performing temperature compensation. May I know what are some possible causes for this and if there is a way to improve the sampling method for liquid measurements?

Thank you in advance for your help.
